Swan
Creek Farm
is family owned and operated. We take great
pride in our animals and in being able to share them with others. As well as providing a fun-filled experience,
children are able to learn about the nature of the animals and also how
to
respect and care for them.
What
began as a
hobby of enjoying the beauty and grace of
waterfowl and peafowl such as swans, peacocks, and pheasants as well as
other
exotic ducks, chickens and geese eventually grew into raising and
selling the
birds throughout the United States and Canada. The
outdoor aviaries, free range
peacocks and numerous ponds that are
home to the endangered species Ne Ne Geese (pronounced Na Na),
Sebastapool
Geese among other unique species soon began to attract visitors from
across the
state. This interest led to the addition of our most recent venture, a
Petting
Zoo complete with miniature farm animals where children of all ages can
interact with the animals include a pot belly pig, baby doll sheep,
llamas,
donkeys, horses, and more. The shady picnic area is situated beside a
picturesque creek with a 100 foot long bridge that leads to the
waterfowl park
where Anna Belle, the stately Anatolian Shepard, will greet you with a
friendly
wag of her tail. Make no mistake, as
welcoming as she is to our visitors, this dog takes her job as a
guardian very
seriously and she does an excellent job protecting her
flock against nighttime predators.
In
addition to the
Petting Zoo area, other activities include a zip line, paddle boat
rides, hay
rides, catch & release fishing, cart rides courtesy of
"Jackrabbit" the
Paint donkey and pony rides from Sophia.
